README
Detect and launch the DeepSeek Harness Desktop app from the DSH Web UI.
A cordis plugin for DeepSeek Harness that adds a "Desktop" card to the settings page. It shows whether the desktop app is running and offers a one-click launch button.
Features
- Status detection — probes the web service port and the desktop app process on Windows.
- One-click launch — starts the desktop app exe when found, otherwise falls back to opening the Web UI in the default browser.
- Bilingual UI — follows the DSH locale (中文 / English).
Verify
Once installed and restarted, check the HTTP API directly:
curl http://127.0.0.1:3080/api/desktop-launcher/status
# {"running":false,"pid":null,"port":3080,"serviceUp":true,"exePath":"...exe"}
curl -X POST http://127.0.0.1:3080/api/desktop-launcher/launch -H 'Content-Type: application/json' -d '{}'
# {"launched":true,"exePath":"...exe","method":"exe"}
Or open Settings → Desktop in the Web UI and click Launch Desktop.
A smoke test is included:
node packages/desktop-launcher-plugin/test/smoke.mjs 3080
# SMOKE TEST PASSED
